Advice for the parents

As part of this journey, both of us have solicited much needed advice from our friends and family (thanks to all of you). Please keep the comments coming, Lord knows we (or at least Steve) need all the help we can get.

10 Weeks In

Here is the latest pic of our little embryo! We got great marks at our latest doctor's appointment (much thanks to our nurse, Julie). Our due date is still October 5, but even though we disagree with them about the conception date we're growing just like we're supposed to at this time. Sandy is doing well and is eating lots of fruits and veggies. Even though she hasn't really suffered from morning sickness, she has actually lost about 10 pounds. So far her worst symptom has been her fatigue at the end of a long day of work (no wife of mine is going to lay around eating bon-bons).

Pregnancy: Month 3

We also just got great news that Sandy's work territory with Starbucks is being "downsized" so she will lose South Carolina and be left with only North Georgia, so no more overnight trips! Everything is going so well that the biggest worry we have is the baby furniture might be delivered before our basement is finished.

We won't have any more real news on the baby until week 20, sometime around the last week of May. Until then Sandy will go to the doctor a couple of times just to have her urine and blood pressure checked. Please check in often, because I will update the blog more often as we go along. Thanks for all of your support and prayers so far.
